Kvadrat Trio is a London based clarinet trio. Formed in March 2021, they were soon after awarded in the Harold Craxton Prize for their performance of Contrasts by B.Bartok. Their programming includes pieces for clarinet and piano with violin or viola, which makes the ensemble four-edged instead of three – hence their name (kwadrat – pl. square). They have performed recitals in the Angela Burgess Hall at the Royal Academy of Music, as well as the Southwark Cathedral. In the coming months they are looking forward to performing in St James Pimlico, St James Piccadilly, Summer Piano Festival and Petworth Festival.

MAŁGORZATA ZWIERZCHOWSKA
Violin
Małgorzata, to many known as Gosia (Goh – shi –ah) was born in Warsaw, Poland and is currently a Master’s student at the Royal Academy of Music in London. Gosia is very good at multitasking, not only playing two instruments but also keeping an eye on the trio’s diary.
She hugely enjoys playing a variety of chamber music, especially classical and romantic sonatas for violin and piano. At the same time, she’s passionate about orchestral music – particularly Gustav Mahler and Ludwig van Beethoven.
She also enjoys the thrill of cycling around London and her free time spends perfecting the ultimate Italian tomato sauce recipe, while listening to her favourite podcast.

TOBY WHITE
Cello
Władysław (Voo – ah – dӧ – suave), also known as Wlad, was born and raised in Warsaw, Poland and currently is studying at the Royal Academy of Music in London. His responsibilities as a member of KVADRAT include providing the group with sarcastic jokes, anecdotes and fun facts.
Władysław uses his musical skills in various chamber music setups, both as a clarinettist as well as a chanter. His preferences usually circle around early European vocal polyphony as well as modern and contemporary works. His interests outside of music, include sartorialism, food and cinema.

EDEN AGRANAT MEGED
Piano
His interests include travelling, Jazz as well as science and philosophy of mind.
